Abhay Sapru - President and Chairman

Abhay graduated from Delhi University in 1986 and subsequently joined the prestigious Indian Military Academy. Comissioned in 1989, he joined the elite Special Forces Unit and his first assignment was in Sri Lanka, where he was decorated with the Sena Medal for bravery.

He served in almost all the insurgency ridden nerve centres in the Sub-Continent  during his decade long stint with the Indian Army.

He currently works in a prominent Multinational Insurance Company, responsible for their Facilities and Infrastructure Management across India. He has a decade long prior experience in the Banking industry.

Sujata Suri – Secretary and COO

Sujata graduated in 1986 from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University with a Post Graduate specialization in Computer Applications. After a 3 year stint in the IT industry developing applications software, she changed directions to specialize in Marketing and Communication.

Sujata has a vast experience in Event Management and has successfully conceptualized, managed and executed many events and promotions for key Corporates across India. She has been involved in executing various fund raising events for NGOs like The Spastic Society of Northern India (now Aadi), Sumaitri and Oxfam India Trust.

Subsequently, she moved on to the real estate sector and was responsible for corporate marketing, brand building and profiling of the largest real estate developer in the country. She has been consulting in the real estate sector since almost two decades.

Sujata is also involved in executing a sheep/goat breeding business model in the rural areas of Kashmir.

She is associated with UNESCO's initiative, A Ray of Hope and is volunteering as Advisor & Liaison(India).

Aparna Mathur – Treasurer and CFO

Aparna has over a decade long experience in Business Development and account management in the media, engineering, training and consultancy sectors. A graduate in psychology and a post graduate in marketing management, she brings with her diverse experience of having worked in large and small organizations such as the Times of India, Schindler, iDiscoveri and Mahindra Special Services Group.

Initiating sustainable positive change at an individual, organizational and societal plane is where she has now found her personal calling. Additionally she holds a diploma in Indian Art and Vedic Literature, dance therapy, ICF accredited course in Intensive Coach Training, Results Coaching, Australia.

Aparna has also served as a volunteer at Sanjivini, Society for Mental Health, Janaagraha Bangalore and some teaching assignments at a local school in Chattarpur, Delhi.

Abid Hussain – Founder Member

Abid has been trading in Kashmiri handicrafts for over a decade and a half.

He is also successfully building his venture of livestock breeding (sheep and goats) in Kashmir.

Arti Sardana – Founder Member

Arti has a background in Commerce and Business Administration. She is one of the Directors of a key Exhibition and Event Designing and Fabrication organization. She has valuable experience in co-ordinating and executing multi city, large scale events and exhibitions across India and abroad. Her organization has a prestigious client profile ranging from ITPO, Messe Frankfurt, AEPC, The Government of India and Corporate India.

Arti has actively served with the Rotary Club over the years and has been involved in a number of projects they support.

Aman Kasewa – Founder Member

Aman has a background in Finance and Business Managagement. He has been successfully managing priority accounts for a leading Multinational Bank.

Kapil Mathur – Founder Member

Kapil is an architect and has graduated from the School for Planning and Architecture, Delhi University. His innovative design ideas have been successfully implemented by various organizations and institutions both in India and abroad including the world famous illusionist, Franz Harary’s Shows.

Kapil is also a Visiting Professor at reputed institutions like the School for Planning and Architecture and NIFT.

Divya Pratap Gulati - Liaison(U.K)

Divya graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008 with an MS in Computer Science. He spent considerable time researching projects that addressed the scalability challenges faced by microprocessors. Presently he works in London as a Software Engineer in the Finance Sector.

Divya has been associated with various NGOs like Vibha in Austin, Oxfam India Trust and Aasha in London, assisting in furthering their goals.
